I am a product of my environment. So is everyone else. Change the environment and you change what people believe is possible for them.
Product of My Environment is the initiative that carries this idea into real institutions: schools, community centres, sports facilities, public spaces and workplaces. Art becomes the instrument, participation becomes the method, and the space becomes the message.
Environment
Every space teaches something. Walls, corridors, gymnasiums and courtyards shape behaviour before a single word is spoken.
Participation
The people who live in a space help create it. Youth, staff and residents paint, decide and sign the work with us.
Science
Materials and light are selected for their effect on air, attention and wellbeing, not only for their appearance.
Legacy
What remains is permanent: a place that keeps speaking to the next cohort long after the installation is finished.
The initiative is open to organizations.
Schools, municipalities, sports organizations and companies join as partners of the initiative.
